PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cylinder device that continuously impart large force to an object, and can control the force imparted to the object.SOLUTION: A first opening 32 and a second opening 34 are arranged in a bottom part of a cylinder tube 12. A first valve 24 is arranged in a passage for injecting gas into a tank 20. A second valve 26 is arranged in a passage for injecting the gas into an inside space 18 of the cylinder tube 12 via the second opening 34. A magnet 22 is arranged on a bottom surface of the cylinder tube 12, and attracts a piston 14 to the bottom surface side of the cylinder tube 12. In a state of attracting the piston 14 to a bottom surface of the cylinder tube 12 by the magnet 22, a space formed of a pressure receiving surface 16 of the piston 14 and an inner wall of the cylinder tube 12, is partitioned into a first space 18a communicating with the tank 20 via the first opening 32 and a second space 18b communicating with the second valve 26 via the second opening 34.
