PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat exchanger capable of favorably performing temporary retention before brazing when fixing partitioning members for partitioning an internal space of a header aggregate pipe body, and to provide a method of manufacturing the heat exchanger.SOLUTION: An outdoor heat exchanger 20 comprises header aggregate pipes 22, 23 connected to flat multi-hole pipes 21b joined with a plurality of heat conductive fins 21a, and the header aggregate pipes 22, 23 have a header aggregate pipe body 50 and baffles 60 as partitioning plates. The header aggregate pipe body 50 is arranged so that its longitudinal direction becomes a vertical direction.The baffles 60 as the partitioning members vertically partition the inside of the header aggregate pipe body 50. A baffle insertion opening 56 which is closed by the insertion of the baffles 60 is formed at the header aggregate pipe body 50, and the baffles 60 are plastically deformed by being gripped to the baffle insertion opening 56. |
