PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and device for measuring a ball behavior capable of appropriately measuring slippage of a ball in a ball bearing.SOLUTION: A ring illumination 18 illuminates a ball bearing and an imaging lens 20 takes an image of the ball bearing 10 with a ball 13 being in the state of revolution. An image processing unit 22 calculates a center position of the ball 13 on the basis of reflected light, of the ring illumination 18, on a surface of the ball 13, included in the taken image, and thereby calculating a revolution speed of the ball 13. Further, a revolution speed of an outer ring 12 and a revolution speed of an inner ring 11 are respectively obtained based on a position of a marker included in the taken image, and based on these revolution speeds, a revolution speed of the ball 13 is theoretically calculated. Slippage of the ball 13 is obtained by the revolution speed of the ball 13 obtained from the taken image and the theoretical revolution speed. |
