PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a torque detector that does not require a special component and a heavy component, can be assembled easily, is reduced in weight, and is inexpensive.SOLUTION: A torque detector detects torque acting on a shaft 23 by means of a cam bearing 40 in which a driving wheel 40a and a subordinate wheel 40b are displaced so as to separate from each other in an axis direction of the shaft 23 by torque acting on one of the shaft 23 and a rotation body 34, a strain element 30 whose both edges are fixed to the driving wheel 40a and the subordinate wheel 40b of the cam bearing 40, and a distortion detection element 31 provided on a lateral face of the strain element 30. |
