<p>This mechanism for attaching a vehicle-mounted head-up display has a first attachment implement and a second attachment implement for affixing the main body of a vehicle-mounded head-up display to an affixing section within a vehicle body, and when the first attachment implement or the second attachment implement has become dislodged from the affixing section of the vehicle body, a wire- or band-shaped first drop prevention member for preventing the main body of the vehicle-mounted head-up display from dropping is provided connected between the first attachment implement and the second attachment implement at the reverse side of the affixing section with respect to the main body of the vehicle-mounted head-up display.</p>
