A system (100) for improving dynamic response characteristics of an excavator comprises a control device (102), used for determining whether an excavator (200) tends to excavate or not, and if yes, sending an acceleration command; and a communications device (104), used for transmitting the acceleration command from the control device (102) to an engine ECU so that a rotation speed of the engine is adjusted to a preset rotation speed. Also disclosed are the excavator (200) having the system (100) for improving dynamic response characteristics of the excavator, and a method for improving dynamic response characteristic of the excavator.
