PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wire retainer which can hold a wire without causing stress concentration, when holding a wire (drop wire) that is hooked (anchored) to a supporting member (anchor insulator) and in an unstable state.SOLUTION: A wire retainer includes a first holding member 10 for holding a horizontal wire 111 until it is hooked to an anchor insulator 3, a second holding member 20 for holding a vertical wire 112 hanging from the anchor insulator 3, and a flexible bar 30 for coupling both holding members 10, 20. The first and second holding members 10, 20 include a pair of halved tube bodies 11, 12 and 21, 22 respectively. The first and second holding members 10, 20 are coupled by means of the bar 30, so that the opening and closing direction of the halved tube bodies 11, 12 of the first holding member 10 intersects the opening and closing direction of the halved tube bodies 21, 22 of the second holding member 20. The bar 30 consists of two bars arranged in parallel, and the intermediate portions of both bars 30 are coupled by means of a coupling member. |
