PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the output of a fundamental wave which is not wavelength-converted by a wavelength conversion element, and decrease size.SOLUTION: A laser light source includes: a laser element 101 for emitting a fundamental wave; a wavelength conversion element 102 in which the fundamental wave is emitted, and converting at least a part of the emitted fundamental wave into a converted wave which has shorter wavelength than the fundamental wave; a waveguide 103 attenuating components of the fundamental wave included in an emission wave of the wavelength conversion element 102 to guide that; and a diffraction grating 113 formed in the waveguide 103, and feeding back the fundamental wave emitted from the wavelength conversion element 102 to lock the wavelength or the frequency of the fundamental wave emitted from the laser element 101. The diffraction grating 113 is formed at a position considering the attenuation amount of the fundamental wave in the waveguide. |
