Disclosed are a method, device, and system for accessing a core network through non-3GPP, so as to acquire capability information of a UE and/or capability information of a non-3GPP access system, and decide, according to the acquired capability information, whether the UE is allowed to transfer information required for establishing an EPC session. The present invention can enhance the capability of the UE to support establishment of an extra PDN connection, and service continuity during switching between access systems. Meanwhile, the capability of the peer can be acquired through the UE and the network, so that the network can support normal access by both an existing UE and an enhanced UE. |
