METHOD AND APPRATUS FOR PERFORMING HANDOVER IN MOBILE COMMUNICATION SYSTEM

PURPOSE: A handover method in a wireless communications system and a device thereof are provided to implement a handover to a cell capable of being accessed by a terminal even when implementing a handover from a macro cell to a closed subscriber group (CSG) cell shared by multiple service providers. CONSTITUTION: A transmission/reception part (1105) transmits and receives signals to and from a source cell or a target cell. When receiving a radio resource control (RRC) connection reconfiguration message from the source cell, a control part (1110) determines whether full configuration is set in the received RRC connection reconfiguration message. If the full configuration is set, the control part stores a parameter used by the source cell. The control part resets the parameter. The control part performs encryption and an integrity check by using the reset parameter.
