METHOD FOR DETECTION OF C-MET GENE USING A CLEAVABLE PROBE

PURPOSE: A primer set and a cuttable probe that specifically bind to c-Met are provided to detect expression of a small amount of c-Met in real-time, and thus to easily determine diagnosis and prognosis of various cancers related to overexpressed c-Met. CONSTITUTION: A kit for detecting c-Met gene comprises a primer comprised of nucleic acids of SEQ ID No. 1, a primer comprised of amino acids of SEQ ID No. 2, and a cuttable probe comprised of amino acids of SEQ ID No. 7. A method of detecting c-Met gene comprises the steps of: obtaining DNA from a sample; mixing at least one selected from the group consisting of a first primer-probe set, a second primer-probe set, and a third primer-probe set with the sample; mixing a polymerase, RNase, and an amplification buffer to the mixed sample to amplify the c-Met gene; and detecting signal increase emitted from a surface of the probe.
