The vacuum cleaning apparatus (200) has a filter bag receiving space (210) having rigid walls, which is closed by a flap opening with a predetermined opening surface. A filter bag made of non-woven fabric material, is inserted into the filter bag receiving space. The ratio of the surface of a rectangular opening area bag receiving space at the housing portion and the surface area of the filter bag is greater than 0.70, preferably greater than 0.85, and most preferably greater than 1.0. An independent claim is included for method for inserting filter bag into filter bag receiving space. |
