PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pigment dispersant exhibiting dispersing performance for wide fields of pigments while exhibiting high clarity and to provide a pigment composition providing high clarity and exhibiting excellent dispersion performance to a pigment carrier. SOLUTION: The trans type thiazine indigo pigment dispersant or a cis type thiazine indigo pigment dispersant is represented by a specified structural formula. The pigment composition comprises a pigment and the trans type or the cis type thiazine indigo pigment dispersant. The colored composition contains the pigment composition and the pigment carrier.
