PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a Pachinko game machine which enables the novel use of a range-finding sensor as a sensor for performance, while preventing possible malfunctioning attributed to the life of the range-finding sensor. SOLUTION: When the predetermined performance is executed which makes actions of players reflect on the contents to be displayed in a display area 42 of a liquid crystal display device 116, the stoppage of the power supply to the range-finding sensor 119 is released to limit the period during which the range-finding sensor 119 is electrically energized. The use of a non-contact type range-finding sensor 119 as the sensor for performance enables actions by players to be detected, thereby displaying images in the display area 42 of the liquid crystal display device 116 being switched from the normal images to the reflection images. This can prevent possible malfunctioning attributed to the life of the range-finding sensor 119 while enabling the novel use of the range-finding sensor 119 as the sensor for performance.
