PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laminated polyester film which can appropriately be used in optical applications in which a rise in the haze of a film after the film is heat-treated for a long time is minimized, visibility is important in particular, and high transparency is required, for example, for a touch panel. SOLUTION: The laminated polyester film has a coating layer which is obtained by applying a coating liquid containing a quaternary ammonium salt group-containing polymer, a polyethylene glycol-containing acrylate polymer, and a crosslinking agent on at least one film surface and drying the coating liquid.
