PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To immediately restart vehicle after idle stop. SOLUTION: The type hydraulic control device for automatic transmission coping with idle stop is characterised in that an auxiliary hydraulic source 2 is connected through a connection circuit 6 to a proximity position of a forward clutch 3 of the main hydraulic diaphragm 5 and a vicinity of the vane pump type main hydraulic source 1 and in the connection circuit 3, the first check valve 7 which blocks the hydraulic source going to the go-ahead clutch 3 from the main hydraulic source 1 is inserted.
