PURPOSE: A high-intensity focused ultrasound (HIFU) generating device and method for wrinkle and obesity treatment are provided to prevent the use of a probe not suitable for a patient during the replacement of probes which frequently happens in accordance with the portion and purpose of use. CONSTITUTION: A HIFU generating device (100) for wrinkle and obesity treatment includes the following parts: multiple probes (110) individually having identification information and prepared to be replaceable; a probe identification unit (121) forming an interface, on which the probe is mounted, and identifying the identification information of the probe; a depth measuring unit (122) measuring the depth from the surface of a skin to fat or to a bone by projecting ultrasound; a database (131) where HIFU projection data is matched with the depth and stored, and then is matched with the identification information of the probe and stored; and a control part (132) matching the HIFU projection data with the depth measured by the depth measuring unit, determining whether the identification information of the probe searched from the database coincides with the identification information of a probe mounted on the probe identification unit, and if they coincide, sending a HIFU generation signal in accordance with the HIFU projection data to the mounted probe.
