PURPOSE: A safety rod post for a forklift having an adjustable width is provided to allow an object support part to stably support objects loaded on the fork of a forklift. CONSTITUTION: A safety rod post for a forklift having an adjustable width comprises a base member (2), an object support part (7), and a screw rod (12). The base member has a base plate (3), guide blocks (4a,4b), and a screw rod installation block (5). The object support part is vertically fixed to the top surface of the base plate. The center portion of the screw rod penetrates through the screw rod installation block. Right threads (13) are formed on one side of the screw rod, and left threads (14) are formed on the other side. Clamp bodies (19) are installed on the left and right of the bottom surface of the base plate. A screw rod penetration hole (20) is formed in each clamp body. Female threads (21) screwed on the screw rod are formed in the screw rod penetration hole. |
