PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a die for punching work capable of easily performing sure prevention of slug rise.SOLUTION: This die for punching work includes a punch 1, and a die 2 including a punching hole 20 for fitting the punch 1 therein. The die for punching work further includes, on the inner wall surface of the punching hole 20 of the die 2, recessed groove parts 21 extending along the punching direction. The recessed groove part 21 is formed by forming grooves 22 each of which is thinner than the width W of the recessed groove part 21 and includes a part without being parallel to the punching direction A, along the punching direction A within the width W. |
