Electric haircutting scissors are disclosed. The electric haircutting scissors of the present invention operate a pair of crossed scissor blades by using a motor as a driving source, wherein if a load is generated due to a finger or various foreign matter caught between the pair of scissor blades when an object to be cut, such as hair of a person or pet hair or the like, is cut, the operation of the scissor blades is restricted such that the risk of accidental injury is minimized and the ease of use is increased.
