PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin-forming composition for an optical member for obtaining an optical member, which is excellent in transparency, tackiness, heat resistance and hydrolysis resistance, which shows little changes in optical characteristics due to an environmental change, which can be formed into a thick film, and which is used as an adhesive or a pressure-sensitive adhesive, and in particular, which causes no whitening of the resin when it is taken out from a high temperature and high humidity environment.SOLUTION: A polyurethane resin-forming composition (C) is used, which comprises a modified polyisocyanate (A) and a polyol (B). The modified polyisocyanate (A) is obtained by reacting a polyisocyanate (a1) having an aliphatic and/or alicyclic NCO functional group with a polyether compound (a2) having at least one terminal active hydrogen functional group and average 6 or more ethylene oxide units per one molecule. The composition is prepared to have 1 to 20 mass% ethylene oxide content of (a2) with respect to (C). The polyol (B) includes at least liquid polycarbonate diol. |
