PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motorcycle which can detect a motion of a suspension mechanism without impairing the appearance thereof.SOLUTION: The motorcycle includes: a vehicle body frame 3; a swing arm 27 which is swingably supported on the vehicle body frame 3 and which supports a rear wheel 29; a link mechanism 41 which is provided between the vehicle body frame 3 and the swing arm 27; a buffer 35 which is supported by the link mechanism 41 and which is expanded/contracted depending on the swing of the swing arm 27; and a rotary potentiometer 51 which detects a rotation angle of the link mechanism 41. The rotary potentiometer 51 has a relatively small size. This makes the rotary potentiometer 51 hardly conspicuous when the motorcycle is seen from the outside. Additionally, the link mechanism 41 has relatively high rigidity. Consequently, the rotary potentiometer 51 can accurately detect the expansion/contraction of the buffer 35 and/or the swing of the swing arm 27. |
