摘要 <p>Provided are an array substrate and liquid crystal display, the array substrate comprising: gate lines (113) extending horizontally and data lines (114) extending longitudinally; the gate lines (113) and data lines (114) intersect to define a plurality of sub-pixel areas; each sub-pixel area being provided with a first transparent electrode (111) and a second transparent electrode (112); the first position (121) of the second transparent electrode (112) at the bottom of a sub-pixel area has a first inclined angle relative to the horizontal direction; the second position (122) has a second inclined angle relative to the horizontal direction; and the third position (123) has a third inclined angle relative to the horizontal direction. The first inclined angle enables the deviation between the electric field direction and the friction direction at the first position (121) of the second transparent electrode (112) to be smaller than a first preset angle. The second inclined angle enables the deviation between the electric field direction and the friction direction at the second position (122) of the second transparent electrode (112) to be smaller than a second preset angle. The third inclined angle enables the deviation between the electric field direction and the friction direction at the third position (123) of the second transparent electrode (112) to be smaller than a third preset angle. On the array substrate, the electric field direction is the same or approximately the same as the friction direction at the edge of a black matrix (115), thus enabling liquid crystal molecules to be arranged in the friction direction at the position of previous light leakage so as to reduce light leakage.</p>
