PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a humidifier capable of appropriately adjusting a humidification amount by increasing and reducing a moisture content of a filter and an air blowing amount of an air blower, respectively.SOLUTION: In a humidifier, a disk-like filter 2 is arranged in a vertical attitude, and a portion of the outer peripheral part of the filter 2 can be submerged in a water tank. While the filter 2 is rotated in the circumferential direction by using a filter motor 31, air is blown to the filter 2 by the air blower 5. In the case that an amount to be humidified is increased (or reduced), when a rotational frequency of the filter motor 31 and/or a fan motor 51 for rotating blades 52 of the air blower 5 is increased (or reduced), a water content of the filter 2 is increased (or reduced). As a result, air passing through the filter 2 absorbs a large amount (or only a small amount) of moisture, and the humidified air is blown to the outside of the humidifier. |
