The present invention relates to an apparatus (1) for the production of clinker starting from raw meal. The apparatus comprises a rotary kiln (10), a precalcinator (12), and a suspension pre-heater adapted to heat the raw meal through a heat exchange with the combustion fumes generated in the rotary kiln (10). Said pre-heater comprises a pair of cyclone separators (30, 40) connected by a feeding and heating pipe (42) which comprises at least a loading section (42) for the raw meal. The pre-heater also comprises an electro-filter (450) connected to one of the two separators and comprising a raw meal outlet section connected to the loading section (42'). The two separators (30, 40) are arranged at the same height defining a first horizontal reference plane (101). In addition, this pipe (32) is developed partially above this first plane (101) and partially under the plane thereof to define respectively, a maximum height point (71) and a minimum height point (72) for the pipe thereof. Furthermore, the loading section (42') of the raw meal is arranged under the first plane (101). |
