PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for detecting RFID-tagged sanitary materials, capable of reliably detecting RFID-tagged sanitary materials using a single antenna and low power electromagnetic wave such as radio wave.SOLUTION: A device for detecting RFID-tagged sanitary materials includes; a rotatably structured rotary drum 8 having an opening for RFID-tagged sanitary materials to be thrown in through; and a reader antenna 14, located in the vicinity of the rotary drum, for reading identification data and the like from the RFID-tagged sanitary materials that has been thrown into the rotary drum. The rotary drum is structured to rotate in an inclined position around an inclination axis D which is at a prescribed angle &thetas; with respect to the horizontal axis. |
