PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medical material cost calculation system capable of calculating the costs of medical material that has become used without increasing the man-hours of staff at point-of-care.SOLUTION: The system includes: a medical material storage unit for storing a medical material cost table in which material identification information attached to medical materials and cost information for each of the medical materials are associated; an identification information reading unit for reading the material identification information, which has a one-to-one correspondence with the used medical materials, and which is displayed on the outer peripheral surface of a cylindrical body that is disposable upon disposal of the medical materials; an identification information storage unit for storing the material identification information for the used medical materials; an identification information recording means for recording, on the identification information storage unit, a used medical material table which includes the material identification information which is read by the identification information reading unit; and a first cost calculation means for calculating the cost of the medical materials on the basis of the used medical material table and the medical material cost table. |
