PURPOSE: An airbag device is provided to reduce head injuries or neck injuries of passengers because an upper chamber of an airbag cushion maintains optimal pressure to support a head part of the passenger and the airbag cushion is sequentially spread from an upper part to a lower part. CONSTITUTION: An airbag device comprises an airbag cushion (10) and a partition (20). The partition is arranged inside the airbag cushion and divides an inner part of the airbag cushion to an upper chamber (11) and a lower chamber (13). The partition includes an opening unit (25) which is recessed into an inner side of the rear end and is connected to open a gap between the upper chamber and the lower chamber in the rear of the airbag cushion. The rest of the airbag cushion is connected to close the gap between the upper chamber and the lower chamber.
