PURPOSE: An information technology (IT) and a device thereof are provided to help a user to concentrate in driving by providing a channel list just outputting sound information and by restricting image information. CONSTITUTION: An IT terminal executes one or more application programs and is located within a vehicle. The terminal comprises a control unit determining the operation restriction of an application program according to the speed of the vehicle and a display unit processing the execution icon display of a background image corresponding to a control signal determining the driving state of the vehicle from the control unit. The execution icon display of the background image is deactivated. The execution icon is displayed with a gray color.
