The method involves deflecting a laser beam of small optical performance in the lower milliwatts region over electrical controllable lenses (8) in propagation direction in two dimensions and introducing into a power laser beam resonator (26). The power laser beam resonator is in the form of intense widened gas laser tubes with special dichroic hollow mirror resonators. The power laser beam resonator outputs a power laser beam in propagation direction of the excitation laser beam diverted by the electrical controllable lenses.
