TECHNIQUE FOR ATYPICAL LUNG RESECTION FROM MINITHORACOTOMY

A technique for the atypical lung resection from minithoracotomy comprises the elimination of the cyst cavity by suturing the opposite walls and pleurization of the edges of the cavity with the same threads that were used for suturing the bed of the cyst. Following the resection of the part of air cyst, the duplicatures of pleura are generated on the edges of the cavity. The generated edges are sutured together with blanket suture involving lung parenchyma. The thread is tied up. The sutures wound of the lung is sealed with metal staples one against another applied at the obtuse angle.
