PURPOSE: A connecter is provided to prevent a separation and a slip of each element in a state of a completed connection and a process of insertion-connecting of a jack module and a plug module by forming a separation-prevention means on a plug contact terminal and an insulator. CONSTITUTION: To prevent a plug contact terminal (300a) of a plug module (10a) and a jack contact terminal (300b) of a jack module (10b) from being separated in a direction of being further from each other, a holding protrusion is formed on the outer periphery of the plug contact terminal and jack contact terminal. To make the holding protrusion meshed, a holding groove is formed on the inner periphery of the plug insulator and jack insulator which surround the outer periphery of the plug contact terminal and jack contact terminal respectively.
