A rotary viscosimeter includes a motor on the shaft of which with keeping to coaxiality a hollow cylinder is fixed, this is closed at above and opened at beneath, in its walls windows are cut, the centers of those are at same distances one from another, discs that are rigidly installed in horizontal position between the windows at same distances one from another, system for control of the rate of rotation of the discs, and measuring device with scale calibrated in viscosity units. To provide rotation of the rotor an asynchronous motor is used, the viscosimeter comprises a support axle installed in ceramic bearings, thereon in the horizontal discs are fixed, those are installed between the discs placed on hollow cylinders.
