<p>The sealing device has an elastic ring (7) arranged over a gap (6), where the ring is fitted in a sliding manner at a portion (4') of an upper part (4) of a street cap (2). The portion is inserted in a lower part (3) of the street cap. A cover element (8) is provided which is formed such that the cover element has a backlash (11) to the portion of the upper part. The cover element covers the ring lying over the lower part in a mounting position (12). The cover element consists of a heat-resistant material, particularly heat-resistant plastic. An independent claim is also included for a street cap with a cover element which is formed as separate component.</p> |
