A control system for a spray booth is disclosed. The control system includes a controller 150 operable to control input air handling equipment to provide a first predetermined airflow into the air input region, the predetermined airflow having a desired volumetric flow rate, and operable to control such a plurality of air extraction units, so as to produce a predetermined air temperature distribution and a predetermined air flow distribution in the work space.
