PURPOSE: An organic light emitting device and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to prevent decrease in efficiency by confining excitons in a light emitting layer. CONSTITUTION: A first light emitting layer is formed in a first pixel. A second light emitting layer is formed in a second pixel. A first common layer (134) is formed among a first light emitting layer, a second light emitting layer, and a first electrode. A second common layer (146) is formed between a second triplet exciton confinement layer (145) and a second electrode (148). A second electrode faces the first electrode.
