PURPOSE: An apparatus for measuring the vertical angle pattern of an outdoor antenna is provided to measure the beam pattern of the antenna by mounting heavy equipment on operating equipment without separating the antenna even through the operating equipment is malfunctioned. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus (100) for measuring the vertical angle pattern of an outdoor antenna (170) comprises a beam signal generation part (140), the outdoor antenna, a beam detection part, a beam measuring part (150), and a control part (110). The beam signal generation part controls and outputs the intensity of beam signals according to beam control signals. The outdoor antenna receives beam steering control signals and the beam signals generated in the beam signal generation part and outputs beams. The beam detection part comprises a sensor part and a driving part and detects the beams outputted from the outdoor antenna according to the driving signals of the sensor part. The beam measuring part measures the phase and level of the beams detected by the sensor part and outputs phase and level data. The control part analyzes the phase and level data to measure the vertical angle pattern of the antenna.
