METHOD OF FILLING TANK OF CARRIER ROCKET WITH LIQUID HYDROGEN

A method of filling a tank of a carrier rocket with liquid hydrogen includes filling the tank with supercooled hydrogen to a predetermined level, subsequent temperature equalization of liquid hydrogen in the tank by supply of supercooled liquid hydrogen into the tank and prestarting supercharging the tank by supplying helium in its gas volume. Temperature equalization of liquid hydrogen in the tank is combined with prestarting supercharging the tank with helium, wherein the supercooled liquid hydrogen, which is fed into the gas volume of the tank, is dispersed in this volume providing cooling of the gas volume to the temperature, at which the density of helium in the gas volume exceeds the density of hydrogen vapor.
