A method for the management of the labor and postpartum period in the patients predisposed to pelvic injury comprises informative visualization of the pelvis with the aid of real time ultrasonographic symphysiometry in the course of the labor and the first postpartum day. When the findings of ultrasonography are inconsistent, the functional X-ray imaging of the pelvis is provided. Finally, to dissolve the contradictory findings, nuclear magnetic resonance tomography is performed. |
