PURPOSE: A distortion forming device for square members of a single pole coil assembled to slots of stator and rotor cores of a motor and a generator is provided to prevent short failure by distorting the central part of square members. CONSTITUTION: A main body integrally assembles assembly blocks (11,12). The assembly block forms a square member of a single pole coil. The assembly block forms a support member (16), a protrusion (17), and a support groove. A space part accommodates a molding frame. The molding frame distorts the square member.
