PURPOSE: A method of manufacturing electrode active material is provided to obtain electrode active material which is stable and has economically high pellet density and compound density by using a batch reactor. CONSTITUTION: A method of manufacturing electrode active material for a lithium secondary battery comprises; a first step manufacturing two or more active material precursors, which have the grain size distribution of chemical formula 1, different μ and σ, by using a batch reactor; a second step manufacturing a final active material precursor, which has σ of higher value than the active material precursor and the grain size distribution of the chemical formula 1, by mixing the active material precursors. In the chemical formula 1, μ is an average grain size and σ is a standard deviation of grain size distribution.
