PURPOSE: A display device, and a controlling method thereof are provided to synchronizing a glass device with a main contents view among multiple contents views in a controlling unit according to the connection of the glass device. CONSTITUTION: A display unit (130) combines an image frame comprised in signal processing units (120-1 - 120-n), and outputs multiple contents views comprising a main content view and at least one sub content view. A synchronization signal generator (150) generates a synchronization signal which synchronizes one of the multiple contents views with the glass device. When the glass device is connected to an interface unit (160), a control unit (140) synchronizes the glass device with the main contents view.
