PURPOSE: An information exchange protocol based an information providing service system between multiple devices and a method thereof are provided to integrally operate and manage information which is offered from not only a device layer in the groove network environment but also different layers of a network and a service. CONSTITUTION: An information providing server (200) receives a signal which is sensed through a sensor installed in the predetermined position within a specific space. The information providing server grasps the position of the sensed signal. The information providing server searches device position information of the same position as the grasped position through an information providing application service module. The information providing server transmits predetermined guide information data to an information application of a device corresponding to the searched device position information.
