PURPOSE: Photocatalyst powder and a manufacturing method of the same are provided to improve the absorption performance of a photocatalyst with respect to pollutants by varying the distribution of pores in the photocatalyst and to induce a photoreaction into the photocatalyst powder by reducing the diffuse reflection of light. CONSTITUTION: A manufacturing method of photocatalyst powder includes the steps of: forming initial photocatalyst powder by compression molding the nanoparticles of photocatalyst substances into a predetermined form (S210); and dividing the initial photocatalyst powder into plenty of photocatalyst powder by injecting the initial photocatalyst powder into a predetermined dividing solution (S220). The dividing solution is an amorphous or colloidal solution. The photocatalyst substances are one or more selected from a group including titanium dioxide (TiO2), zinc oxide (ZnO), cadmium sulfide (CdS), barium titanate (BaTiO3), and strontium titanate (SrTiO3).
