INDOMETHACIN COCRYSTAL, MANUFACURING METHOD OF THE SAME, AND PHARMACEUTICAL COMPOSITION COMPRISING THE SAME

PURPOSE: An indomethacin co-crystal including indomethacin (IMC) and saccharin is provided to remarkably improve the solubility and the leaching rate of indomethacin in comparison with the existing indomethacin. CONSTITUTION: An indomethacin co-crystal comprises indomethacin and saccharin. The mole ratio of the indomethacin and the saccharin is 1:1 through 1:2. A manufacturing method of the co-crystal including the indomethacin and the saccharin comprises: (i) a step of manufacturing a solution by dissolving the indomethacin and the saccharin in the selected solvent from a group comprising ethyl acetate, methyl acetate, ethanol, methanol, and acetone; (ii) a step of adding anti-solvent to the solution of (i) step; and (iii) a step of obtaining the crystallized particle by stirring and vacuum filtering the solution of (ii) step. The co-crystal containing the indomethacin and the saccharin is included in a pharmaceutical composition with the pharmaceutically acceptable diluent or carrier.
