PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily obtain a weld part position and to align a displacement gage with a welding torch with high accuracy in the case of replacing the displacement gage with the welding torch to carry out welding.SOLUTION: In calibration operation, the projection spot of the displacement gage 3 is positioned by a positioning member 10, and then a radial moving part 4 moves the positioning member 10 by an offset amount &Dgr;r to position the tip of an electrode 2a of the welding torch 2 into a position separated by the offset amount &Dgr;r from a projection spot of the displacement gage 3. In measuring operation, the displacement gage 3 measures the shape of a member to be welded. In welding operation, the radial moving part 4 moves the member to be welded by the offset amount &Dgr;r to replace the displacement gage 3 with the welding torch 2, and the welding torch 2 welds following a measured result. |
