PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metal mold for vulcanizing a tire, that can sufficiently suppress the occurrence of burrs, since even when a groove part is provided in mating surfaces of a sector and a side plate, rubber with uniform volume is laminated at the groove part on a periphery.SOLUTION: The metal mold for vulcanizing a tire includes the sector supported by a support and a pair of upper and lower side plates, and is used to perform vulcanizing molding of a tire while matching surfaces of the sector and the side plates are mated. The groove part which makes one round in a peripheral direction of the tire is provided in at least one of the mating surfaces of the side plates and sector, and an attachment which protrudes toward the support is provided in the side plate and abuts on the support to close the mold. |
