PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic money deposit terminal with an electronic money charge function added for an existing automatic vending machine without affecting settlement processing in commodity sales.SOLUTION: An electronic money deposit terminal 11 (control unit 110) is connected to a main control unit of an automatic vending machine via a first communication line 15, and to a money processor via a second communication line 16. The terminal has a third communication line 17 for connecting the first communication line 15 and the second communication line 16 without going through the control unit, and a line switching part 113 for blocking the third communication line. While performing money deposit processing of electronic money, the terminal supplies power to the line switching part 113 so as to block the third communication line 17 and performs the deposit processing to write the electronic money in a memory medium with communication with the money processor via the second communication line 16 and makes a response indicating a standby state in lieu of the money processor via the first communication line. |
