PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a calendar mechanism with a new structure capable of avoiding an excessive friction load while avoiding excessive complication in a structure, and also provide a watch having the calendar mechanism.SOLUTION: A calendar mechanism 1 of a watch 2 includes: an operation lever structure body 70 having a cam follower part 75 for detecting a month with less than 31 days and supported by a support substrate of the watch so as to be swingable; a date indicator driving pawl 33 that gains a date by engagement with a teeth 47 of a date wheel 40 and that is supported by the operation lever structure body 70 so as to allow a rotation center B to be displaced in accordance with the swing of the operation lever structure body 70; and a month cam 65 that is engaged with the cam follower part 75 for detecting a month with less than 31 days in the operation lever structure body 70 in order to change the swing displacement position of the operation lever structure body 70 so as to allow the date indicator driving pawl 33 to perform additional date gaining for the portion of one day between the month end of a month with less than 31 days and the beginning of a month with 31 days. A date indicator driving wheel 30 is rotatably supported by the support substrate of the watch 1 and supported by the operation lever structure body 70 so as to allow the rotation center B of the date indicator driving pawl 33 to be swingable with respect to a rotation center H of the date indicator driving wheel 30. |
