PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system for adaptive streaming in a multipath environment.SOLUTION: A system 10 comprises a plurality of servers 14, 16, 18 being respectively capable of transmitting a multimedia content in an RTP/RTSP environment through a respective data path 20, 22, 24 to a client 12, the client 12 including controller means being capable of probing each of the data paths 20, 22, 24 in order to determine a respective bandwidth associated to each of the data paths 20, 22, 24 and to request a chunk of the multimedia content for each of the servers 14, 16, 18 according to the determined respective bandwidths. |
